Speech Buddy Website

A couple of students have emailed me about accessing the Speech Buddy Website that you watch the required videos on. I called the book's publisher today and asked if every book came with the required Access Code, and the representative on the phone said that every book does. Apparently it's an insert in the book, either a pamphlet or a postcard that has an Access Code with a series of letters and numbers. In order to get signed up with the website to access the videos, you need to go to:

Click, "Create an account" and follow the prompts from there. It will ask if you are a student or an instructor, obviously choose student. It will then ask you for some personal information (I think). When you create your account, PLEASE make sure you keep your log on information.

For those of you that have logged on and watched the videos already, where did you find your insert? And, was the process easy to get going?

Viewing the videos:
Once you are able to access the website, there should be something that says "Interactive Videos Activities". Click on that. Once the page loads, you should see a screen with a black square on the upper left hand side, and at the bottom there is a section with chapters. Roll your mouse over the number of the chapter you are looking for and click on it. An additional bar will pop up that has the numbers of the videos you are looking for. Click on the number of the video that corresponds with this weeks assignment and view the video. Of course you can view more than what's required - which will help you more in the long run with this course. I hope this helps!
