Wow, it seems like just yesterday that we were giving our first speeches in the class. But alas, it is time for our second speech, the Informative Speech! Here is what's on the schedule for this week:

Please DO NOT submit your outlines late!!!
Other than that, we have a mandatory meeting for ALL students on Friday, October 24th @ 12:00pm. Just like last time, please be on time. If you are late, you will be deducted points! We will be starting earlier than we did last time since we are all acquainted now.
If you are planning on using Powerpoint, I need your slides NO LATER THAN 5pm on Thursday, otherwise YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE POWERPOINT. I need to make sure the slides will open on my computer, so please plan ahead with that as well.
I will be posting updates and speech tips this week, so please look out for those. Additionally, please see ALL PAST SPEECH TIPS to make sure you are on track with your speech. I was quite lenient with the last speech, so please keep that in mind when planning and practicing for this speech.
One last thing, if I give you tips on your speech when I return your outline, please make the appropriate changes so you can better your grade.
